What is the best cream/ointment to put on your new tattoo?

Should it be kept moist at all times? Some advise would be great. My hubby has just had his first tat and needs a little advise. Thanks!What is the best cream/ointment to put on your new tattoo?
A/D ointment works great,';Tat Wax'; works best,most tattoo shops carry it, but if you can't get just get the ointment, you should also ask the person who gave him the tattoo, they usually will give you some free stuff or at least tell you exactly what to get. good luck.What is the best cream/ointment to put on your new tattoo?
i used E45 cream on both my tattoos





no dont keep it moist all the time my friend did that and it faded and she had to have it re-done





just put the cream on 3-4 times a day and when he washes





it will scab over a bit coz in the end it is a cut. just let the scab come off by itself
preperation h gel and depending on how that goes try covering with cling film for an hour or so to help lock in moisture. this is what i was told and it worked for me. every one is different!
Go to the pharmacy and ask for aqueous cream. It's very cheap and an excellent moisturiser for tattoos.

Thats only for the first few days though, after that you can use a good moisturiser

My friend has loads of tattoos and she swears by Tatttoo Goo. Its specially designed to help heal tattoos. You should be able to get it on the internet.

A/D is really good and regular Intensive care Vaseline.
