Is it ok to use human ointment cream on dogs?

Not sure what you mean by ';ointment'; but some can be used safely on dogs such as antibiotic ointments etc. The only problem is that you have to make sure they don't lick it off. Best thing to do is check with the vet or at least drop by the pet supply store for something more appropriate depending on what you're using it for.Is it ok to use human ointment cream on dogs?
If it's a prescription ointment then absolutely not without consulting a vet first.

Some over the counter ointments are OK to use, but not all of them. Check with your vet first. Dogs react differently to ingredients used in human medications than we do; some are toxic to dogs.Is it ok to use human ointment cream on dogs?
Why do you need to put ointment on your dog,? you should ask a vet first or go to the pet supply store and ask them if they know what your dog needs
Not if it's in an area they can lick it off
depends on what it is. u have to give more detail.
I wouldn't use anything without checking with my dogs' vet first. The one thing that they do allow is Neosporin ointmint.
i would advice against it!!!!!!!!

and if u really need talk to a vet about which is the best ointment for dogs.
